There is nothing quite like Christmas shopping on Block Island. No lines, no parking issues. Just stroll into any shop and you will be greeted by a welcoming shop owner.
Jon Spudz McKenzie keeps the door open through Christmas eve and his shop is chock full of truly unique gifts. “Like U Neek!” he said with a toothy grin and a beard only Santa would not be envious of. “And we have cider, too!”
He added with a laugh, “If you buy one of our camp-style Block Island mugs, you can even get a refill of our hot cider!”
BI Ts is open with all their exclusive island-branded clothing, as is Solstice next door, with great homewares and active-life outerwear.
